Megaman LED GLS standard shape are part of the leading edge LED lighting development. These are available in Very Warm White, E27 ES screw and B22d BC caps in Opal. LED lamps offer potential savings in energy due to the small amount of power they use often as low as 1 or 2 watts however their light output is low compared to the lamps they replace so are generally used more for effect than general lighting. The capital outlay is offset by the life of these lamps and many last 20 or 30 times longer than the equivalents they replace.
