Elliptical High Pressure Sodium HPS discharge lamps are availabe in external and internal ignitor versions and 50 Watt, 70 Watt, 100 Watt, 150 Watt, 250 Watt, 400 Watt and 1000 Watt. Brand references to these are Osram NAV E, GE Lucalox E, Philips Master SON E and Sylvania SHP E. A range of mercury retrofit lamps are also avaialble from Osram in 110 Watt, 210 Watt and 350 Watt. When selecting SON E lamps please take care to check if you need Internal ignitor or external ignitor, these are differentiated by a trianlge with an E inside (external ignitor) and an I inside (internal ignitor).
