Venture 250 Watt HIE Elliptical Quartz Metal Halide Lamps are available in coated. They offer excellent colour rendering CRI Ra. Protected versions can be used in open fittings whereas unprotected versions are restricted to closed fittings use only. Please take care when selecting for open fittings to ensure the lamp is designed for this. Many metal halide lamps are interchangeable but not all.
